Whirr up your blenders, boys. Summer is fast approaching, and you know what that means: it’s frosé season.
I see a lot of frosé recipes with all kinds of stuff in them: syrups, liqueurs, vodka….but I came here to tell you it’s okay to take your frosé back to basics. After all, isn’t frosé “frozen rosé”?
For this recipe, you only need frozen raspberries and rosé wine.
Yes, you can do that.
The result is tart, fruity, and refreshing.
Tips
Use a rosé you like drinking. This is not the recipe for getting rid of a wine you don’t like. With that said, let’s be for real: don’t use your best rosé on a frosé.
This is not a sweet drink. If you want it to be sweet, you’ll need to add simple syrup, agave, or another sweetener of your choice. I would start with about a tablespoon and go from there.
Serving Suggestions:
Garnish with mint leaves or fresh raspberries.
Don’t be hard on yourself if you drink it all yourself. It’s really only two glasses of wine.
